Mark Howard

Mark Howard is co-founder and one of the owners of FEZ Restaurant & Bar. Born and raised in Tucson and now a central Phoenix resident, Mark graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Arizona (Go Cats!) and later received a Masters of Science in Education from the University of Colorado in Boulder . His professional roots are varied and include work in Education (yes he was a middle school teacher), Corporate America (in Marketing, Product Development, Organizational Development, Training & Human Resources) and Self-Employment (in addition to FEZ, Mark is Managing Partner along with his brother Tom of Lucky Dog Creative (www.luckydogcreative.com), a local graphic design and marketing firm; co-founder and executive producer along with Lyman Goodrich of HowGood Productions (a specialty theatre production company); and sole member of MSH Investments (real estate).

He is excited to be an active partner in FEZ and is responsible for the Marketing & Promotions as well as Interior Design (something he loves to do and had the privilege of working on at FEZ with his best friends Kelly Bauer of richard & bauer architecture and Galen Hasenpflug.) He is proud that FEZ has recently won a 2006 IIDA (International Interior Design Association) Award for Outstanding Interior Design.

Mark, along with his other partners at FEZ (Tom & Mark), are excited to bring this restaurant concept to central Phoenix . The intent behind FEZ was to combine a great atmosphere (design and music) with great, consistent and extremely flavorful food with excellent customer service all in the great, changing urban setting of central Phoenix . Each day, the entire team at FEZ strives for just that so that FEZ is a comfortable place for all who pass through the front door. Mark describes the vibe as one that feels like "walking into your living room and seeing your friends and their friends hanging out, having a great time - laughing, relaxing and enjoying themselves."
